Dearest Friends!Back in Dallas, had a wonderful day, and am now even happier since I've been able to connect to the internet again on my own computer.
Time in Austin was wonderful and here you see a photo I took early Wednesday morning (last) of Town Lake, with bits of downtown in the background. If the law-phd thing doesn't work out, maybe there's a future for me in pictures. I find it a lot more relaxing, a lot more fun and I'm probably better at it. Am also playing with my new 'gigabeat' -- something like an ipod, only from toshiba and a bit more complicated. It'll hold all sorts of data and photos, etc., in addition to music, and so it just might come in handy when I get to Buenos Aires.
Hope everyone had/is having good holidays. More than anything am looking forward to getting back to Austin to house sit, to get some work done on grants and fellowships and DB's outline, and to start running again.
