Well Folks, work started in full again today, though I did take a moment to play with Augie and Picco (left), who has grown considerably. They're great fun. Took them and Cosimo for a walk yesterday (yes, all three) and they did very well, much to my surprise.
So, have set myself up to read Jose Antonio Rivera's Jurisdiccion Constitucional: Procesos Constitucionales en Bolivia in its entirety. Need to get a better hold on the details of the subject matter somehow. What better way than to go straight to the source? Let's just hope it's better written than some of our home grown law books. Also spent some time thinking about layout and logic of the dissertation (again) -- which logistically is a nightmare -- and how to organize the Bolivia portion. At end, I'm simply going to have to come to terms with the fact that it's humanly impossible to write the dissertation I'd like to write. Rather, need to look at it as the start of a longer term project. Other than that a relatively productive day.
Did get to speak to Ray before she left for fieldwork, which was nice. Have a safe trip, Ray, and don't forget to send me your address.
B.
