Just got back. Had a lovely tour of the city, followed by dinner outside (by the yacht club), with my own little bottle of Luigi Bosca, La Linda, malbec (as my host was under strict doctor's orders). Not bad. My first official hot meal/steak since landing in BA. My first official taste of wine, too. A bit tipsy.
Again, very interesting political views worth unpacking -- some alarming, of the "I didn't get disappeared, why do you suppose not? Do you understand what I'm telling you?" variety. (The implication here, of course, being that the victims are somehow to blame for their fate.) Unpacking that will have to be done later, when my mind's a little clearer and I've been here a while longer.
Ghost World just came on, so I'm set for the evening. Really wish you all were here!
