Sunday

Dear Friends:

Saturday was a success. Even though I was the first to arrive (on time) and suspected that no one else was going to show up (a-la-facultad-de-derecho), people did! Essentially it was a day-long workshop to inform university students about possible reforms to the Constitution regarding collective and environmental rights. Overall, they did an excellent job. The most fun was having lunch and then dinner with the university students who peppered me with all sorts of questions of the "is it true that in the US" variety. The organizers left me with tons of reading material, which of course I will have a look at. Will try to post photos tomorrow on blogo.

Today was slow and nice. We had great sun all day (sun-day), but towards late afternoon a fierce, cold, what Sabina calls "viento grave" picked up. Am reluctant to leave the warmth of the internet cafe to head home. Think I{ll head to the movie and see what{s showing . . . as they{re bound to have popcorn!

As ever,

B.
