As life would have it, my computer died. Not a near death, near miss, whew! that was close, but rather a full on death-death, hard drive gone, chapter due death. But several dramas later, and I'm back. Calm and collected. The freak-out of 2007 never happened.
Cucumbers have been planted, along with basil and parsley, and a few flowers here and there. The chapter (remember to save, kids) was not lost and though I'm a little more - than + on the time line, I am nonetheless more or less on the time line.
Buying a small house and retreating to the country sounds more appealing by the day.
