Life has been crazy. I'm a shut in. Working on my Bolivia chapter.Got a big ole deadline approaching, which is fine and well. Had a meeting with my co-chairs early feb and we worked on a schedule of completion. I asked for, and got, hard deadlines. What glorious, wonderful things!
Have been working off and on on the chapter, but -- of course -- find that most of the real work has to be done on weekends and this is my last, so I've got to get cracking.
As life would have it, they're doing major construction on the big house (construction seems to follow me wherever I go). That's a bit of a distraction, but not much. Today they're pouring concrete. My landlord has been very decent in directing the workers away from my end of the property and looking out for my garden.
I've finished my exceedingly long bib and have been organizing all my interviews. This, naturally, as a form of productive procrastination. This is going to be the roughest of drafts, but that's fine -- so long as I have a draft. It's like undergrad all over again -- a frenzied, mad dash to the finish! But to the finish nonetheless! How now, brown cow?
