a texas winter

Dear Friends:

Well, I think we may be on the tail end of things. I'm seeing a lot of dripping, but there's still tons of ice everywhere. Am on my second day off from work and getting a little cabin fever. Mostly just watching the critters go about their business. Lots of birds and squirrels outside and it's been kind of nice to just hold up and keep warm.

So this is what passes for a Texas winter. Reports are we'll be up to 42 tomorrow.
