a writing I shall go

Spoke to my bosses today and they agreed to letting me come in 9ish so I can get up early and write in the mornings, which is good. May have to implement that plan on Monday, since I'll hopefully have momentum going from a weekend's worth of dissertating. So very glad the weekend is here. We have a cold front (it'll be in the 20s tonight), and even though my little cottage and I are surviving on space heaters, it's wonderful. Good writing weather too.

Met with a filmmaker who will be doing a short documentary on our non-profit today, so that was kind of interesting. And a well known local paper also wants to do a story on us. AND, we're pitching something to a national radio show, so it seems it's all about the media these days. I've also sold my boss on a photo exhibit of clients and stories at one of Austin's many venues, so that'll be interesting and fun too.

Very tired. Pulled an in - 7 am - no lunch- out 3 pm today, because I just could NOT be in the office on such a beautiful day.

Now contemplating dinner. Famished.
