Ok, Folks, got my first interview (per the post-Bolivia plan) this evening sometime after 5pm. Am excited. Am preparing.
It's with the Madres and I'm hopeful this will lead to the Abuelas and to a nice case study. If all goes well (though I'll continue to dabble here and there), I'll focus on the Madres/Abuelas my last month here. The Madres were one of the first organizations, if not the first, to resort to legal methods during extreme times in Argentina. I just hope they kept good records. The Abuelas, unlike the Madres, have a more developed legal unit and have done much of the innovative legal work of late, but I'll start with the Madres -- cause that's where it all started and because it feels right.
