As another rule, UK bands are generally better than their US counterparts. Listening to Dire Straits this morning after a long while. Great stuff. Makes me think of a summer in London. I wonder what Mick, Ash, Trev, and the gang are up to these days? Still living the life or did they toss it all in for a cheap suit and tie?
Nice weather out, accomplishing nothing. Just listening.

Funny ... Last time I was in CT visiting the folks, I started going through boxes from college and found Ash's wedding picture (sigh ... wonder if they're still married?!) and a couple of letters from Mick and Ash -- nice memories!
That's right. I forgot he had gotten married and Mick was on the verge too . . . Mike still with the state department? Last I heard he was doing a masters at jhu or some such.
