Howdy Folks. Spent most of the day working on an up-dated cv for grants and fellowships. Not the most invigorating way to spend one's time. Must figure out a way to list all the classes I've TAed for in a way that doesn't take up so much room. More to the point, what's important and what's not? Frankly, I'd like to cut half the stuff out, but then what? Tough part will be writing the statements for these things. Unlike some, I have to wait for inspiration.
Have also been checking fares to Buenos Aires, and there's very little under $1000 (not including the Dallas-Miami leg).
Highlights of the day were a call from Jane (it was great to hear from you!) and an extremely tight Scrabble game with Mom. Am looking forward to getting to Austin so E, J, and I can trek down to Lost Maples or somewhere at least and so that De and I can resume runs. Not getting the exercise here I ought to be getting, though I am trying.
Other than that, have to say the Holidays were relatively nice and uneventful. Realizing too Jan's gonna fly by and really need to take full advantage of being in Texas. Challenge is to see how much I can get done while here. Aim is to depart for BA first week of Feb.
New Year's cards went out today, so keep your eyes peeled.
