Arrived

Dearest Friends!

Have arrived in Austin. K was waiting and has set me up nicely. He's still grading, so I took a walk down good ole S. Congress to visit with J (Serge's mother) at her shop on South Congress. Stopped off at the overly yuppified Farm to Market market and bought some manchego and preserves (what does that say about me?). All in all, wonderful to be back. Stopped at HEB and CM on my way, saw the tower, my old street, and everything else I've missed for so long. Lots of changes underway in Austin. Have lunch scheduled for tomorrow with DB and with Jenn on Tuesday and am hoping to see a lot of you in between.

Got the temporary cell phone number and will send that out asap!
