Wrapping it up in cbba

Dear Friends:

Well, phase three wrapping up nicely and quickly. Had an excellent interview yesterday -- the first time someone actually gave me a document regarding "test cases" and the first time someone agreed to let me see files. Could it be? Have the planets aligned? I go back tomorrow afternoon to begin reviewing documents. Have another important interview today, 5 pm, with the Director of "Genero" for the Alcaldia. She used to work for the group I interviewed yesterday and has followed cases through to the Inter-American Court, which is good for my purposes. Will probably wrap up with the Cochabambinos end of the week.

Got a real life view of Don Evo yesterday as I was walking past one of the small parks a few blocks down from my grandparents. There he was, talking to some of his dirigentes early in the morning like anyone else. That´s cbba for you and that´s also probably Bolivia´s next president.

Finally, have to wish REC best of luck with her meetings today (ra, ra!) and tell K (aka abrelatas) that it was wonderful to speak with him last night -- (i.e., nice to see you´re still your old snarky self).

That´s it for today. Hope everyone is well. Best wishes to all.

B.
