Up early today for an interview, now have a bit of a break. Got another today at 11:30 and also at 5 pm. In the meantime, will walk around, buy pastries and a salteña or two, and who knows what else. It rained all night; result it´s nice and fresh this morning. Had an wonderful evening. TWGT invited me to coffee followed by a visit to and personal tour of the Palacio Portales (home of the legendary Simon I. Patino) for the presentation of a novel and following reception. Got to meet a variety of interesting people and very much enjoyed seeing the place and its gardens. Will go back during the day to visit the gallery. Even got my photo taken with my kind host for some magazine or other. Will see if I can track it down. Other than that, life carries on. Am thinking of a trip to Oruro, though the 4 hour bus trip (one way) is thoroughly unappealing (there are no flights).
Anyways, will try to post photos soon, and am very glad everyone´s getting their Chile pcs. Look for a round from cbba.
