Interviews and Schiller

Well, I thought that was it for today, but today had more in store. Have to report had an excellent, excellent interview this afternoon and that I´m more and more of the opinion that the women´s legal movement will be my Bolivia case study. Environmental organizations and those with a more political human rights bent, simply aren´t as adept or successful, for a variety of reasons. Of course, will have to see what La Paz has in store, but all evidence points in that direction. This means a lot more work as it´s not my area of specialization, but one can learn -- for all practical purposes, it´s simply another area of law.

Problem is availability of materials; we´ll see. Things will work themselves out. That´s the purpose of fieldwork, I suppose. On the cultural events front, TWGT has invited me to an event at the Prefectura on Thursday on Schiller. I didn´t quite understand if he´ll be speaking or if others will be, but he´s keenly interested in Schiller on freedom. I´m not especially familiar, but got a brief sum up and history and it all sounds very interesting and will probably make something of Schiller´s my next read. If anyone has recommendations, please let me know, so long as it doesn´t involve learning German.
