Santa Cruz, Brasil?

Dear Friends! Made it Santa Cruz no problems, reminds me very much of Brasil (lite). Verdant, tropical, hot. Highways, cane juice for sale on the side of the road. Mango trees. Fruit everywhere. Petrobras everywhere. Anyways, just had a nice lunch: carpaccio (hope I don´t die), followed by trout in a nice lemon, caper sauce (ditto), followed by an okay coffee. Would have had wine, but the selection wasn´t especially good. In the hotel business center now prepping for my interview this evening. Off to Santiago domani. Wish me luck. Hope everyone is well. B.
