Hello All,
Lovely Saturday. Went for a run and will spend the rest of the day reading up on background info on bo. A wonderful interview opportunity has cropped up in cbba and I want to be as prepared as I can be. I think the Sucre leg of my journey is about to exhaust itself (and me). My tentative plan is to do as much as I possibly can month of October before I leave for Chile, and then move on to cbba and la paz upon return. Haven´t decided whether I´ll abandon home base in Sucre and move to cbba -- I may keep the apartment here to have what Woody Allen would call, in different circumstances, a "life raft".
Am going to visit a trekking agency today to see if I can plan some weekend trips to the mountains and surrounding areas before I leave. Ideally I´d like to arrange something private w/ guide and transportation, we´ll see.
Word has it that the weather is cooling off in TX, if ever so slightly (though it was 58° in Dallas the other day, which isn´t so slight). News on the Dallas front is that a new little puppy -- looks like he might be an Australian shepard of some sort -- has found his way into the T family. Smaller yet than Nemo (what isn´t?), he´s been nicknamed Pico, as in a pico second. The boys (Augie and Cosimo) have taken to him well and it looks as though he´s here (there) to stay, our first non-boxer canine. Been around for a couple of weeks now, unclaimed. Photos should be coming soon. Sounds like he´s all white except for one black eye and one black ear.
That´s the news my friends. As always, hope everyone is well, wherever it is you find yourselves.
B.

Dear B, thanks for the lovely message on my blog. Wish you were around. The trekking idea sounds like fun. You should go for it! I have been busy today just calling travel agents to arrange the tickets for india in december which are exorbitant!! Hope I can get a cheap deal soon. Anyhow, miss you and shall talk soon. A
