Looks like Phase One of the final blitz on Bolivia is paying off and is now bleeding over to Chile. I´ve been able to line up some pretty good interviews in Santiago, which allows me to breathe a sigh of relief. Yesterday´s interview was productive. Also went to a press conference and was invited to attend a viewing of a documentary on "Black October" by the local leadership of the APDHCH. Pretty eye-opening stuff. Am spending today finalizing, or at least trying to finalize, interviews in Santiago and making sure I´ve got things in order here to leave for a week or so.
May try to update the blog this evening, but if I don´t, you´ll probably all hear from me once I arrive in Santiago, on Saturday (remember, I have to spend the night in Santa Cruz). Hope everyone is well. Will take photos and post a few on Blogo.
