Still limping along on this end. Good news is no parasites. Now we get to wait for the other tests. Just incredibly fatigued and not too keen on eating much of anything, which -- for those of you who know me well -- is of note. Anyways, it´s a lovely Andean day here. Just on the edge of cool and very bright and sunny. Lots of activity. U still on strike and it´s serious this time. There is also a shortage of gas and there was a small neighborhood blockade of traffic yesterday just at the end of my street (at the intersection of Avaroa and Grau). A group of 10 or so neighbors rolled their (empty) gas bottles into the middle of the street and blocked cars. And in the afternoon, students from the faculty of accounting at the U launched their own little protest, also at the corner of Avaroa and Grau. I wonder what will happen today.

B, hope you get well soon. Try to rest and take it a bit easy and do eat good food even if you don't want to! Guess I should implement the above to my own life! Miss you, A.
