Dear Friends:
Had an excellent (e-x-c-e-l-l-e-n-t) interview this evening. So much more than I could have possibly hoped for. Two hours. Loads of good information, spoke to someone who was interested in what I was researching and who knew what I was talking about (finally). Such a good interview that I treated myself to an excellent dinner (pollo a la parilla, con arroz, vino, y un heladito despues). Guess I exuded so much good will, the waiter actually brought me an extra glass of wine on the house, whatta guy!
Now off to appreciate two wonderful things I haven´t had in a while: 1) bad tv and 2) a good bath (i.e., hot water and a tub). Actually, I don´t know if it´s because my Spanish is improving that my French is also improving (it could only), but I´ve been watching TV5 since landing at the Camino Real and been doing not so terribly bad.
Off to the races, or should I say to the stable? Hope all is well with you all. Thanks for the note of encouragement AR, hope all is well on the home front.
B.
