Today, more of the same. Did manage to explore the road, which borders two ranches. The views are lovely. Much better than riding/running through what has become a relatively populated housing community behind us.
Observations on a not so pleasant note, I have noticed lots of people here leaving their cars running (pollution, waste) and unattended (theft) while they "dash in" to run not-so-quick errands at supermarkets, coffee shops, and post offices. Frankly, it's an epidemic. That, and I can tell you Austinites are a much fitter bunch all round. I do miss Town Lake and am beginning to feel Austinless. On a positive note, I'm expecting a nice delivery of books on Bo and Ar, which should keep me busy for a while.
Hope everyone is fine and that REC's move to California is pleasant and uneventful.
