Dear Friends!
A quick note to let you know I´ve made it to Bolivia and all is well. There are internet cafes all over Cochabamba and if anyone is behind the times, it´s me. I´m even learning to use the spanish keyboards as they come -- for those of you who noted, i´ve finally found the apostrophe; that and the all important ape´s tail. Head off for Sucre tomorrow afternoon where I hope to set up shop -- there´s already word of a very nice little apartment in the city center, so keep your fingers crossed. More from Sucre once I get settled, if not sooner. Gotta run -- people en route to take me to dinner! Hope everyone is well. Much love, B.

Hola! Bummer that our IMing didn't hold up the other day. Missing our daily electronic conversations desperately. I guess I'll have to resort to email. BTW, you no respond to the one I sent this week! I'm feeling ignored. Otherwise, all is well. Got a class for fall in San Marcos, so this ol' gal can live by herself (finally) and be semi-solvent. More in an email later...
